Mr. Louis Liu is the Chief Technology Officer of Biosion. He has 30+ years of expertise spanning the full arc of antibody discovery and development — from target identification through IND — and commands every major antibody discovery technology, including hybridoma, phage display, single B-cell cloning, and fully human transgenic mouse platforms, paired with deep operational experience building R&D organizations, ADC platforms, and quality and regulatory infrastructure across China and the United States.
Before joining Biosion, Mr. Liu served as Chief Operating Officer of Nona Biosciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harbour BioMed, where his operational leadership of the discovery and preclinical organization underpinned out-licensing transactions with Pfizer and AstraZeneca with combined multi-billion-dollar deal value. Previously, as Senior Vice President at Harbour BioMed, he established the company's Suzhou site end-to-end and built its ADC technology platform, including the novel IntraExo ADC technology. He also held senior leadership roles at Shanghai ChemPartner, where as Vice President of Biologics he built integrated therapeutic antibody discovery and ADC services for global pharmaceutical clients including AbbVie, Merck, GSK, Amgen, Regeneron, and Genentech, and at GenScript, where he led the antibody division and its AAALAC accreditation. He is a named inventor on more than 30 granted and published patents across therapeutic antibody targets and discovery/ADC platforms, and has co-authored publications in Nature Communications, Cancer Immunology Research, and PLOS Biology.
Mr. Liu received his medical education from Norman Bethune Medical University (now the Medical School of Jilin University).
